A Taste of Home's Comfort
Tropical Rain Retreat

A Taste of Home's Comfort
The key turns softly, click, a gentle sound,
Leaving the day's last echo far unbound.
A weary step, then solace starts to bloom,
As familiar scents reclaim the quiet room.
Simple Pleasures, Sweet Embrace
Perhaps a spice, from cooking, warm and deep,
Or island breeze where hidden memories sleep.
The kettle's hum, a cup within my hand,
A simple ritual, understood, unplanned.
Senses Awakened, Spirit Calmed
These homely petals, scattered through the air,
The gleam of wood, a cushion in a chair.
A quiet corner, bathed in fading light,
Turning the ordinary, pure and bright.
Here finds the pause, the deep and true release,
A sanctuary built for inner peace.
This taste of comfort, subtle, strong, and real,
The truest balm a tired heart can feel.
